Sommelier Aubrey Bailer & Winemaker Scott Schultz approached me about building their young wine label’s first site. I was beyond excited, Aubrey had just left a five-year tenure at The French Laundry and with this launch, she was going public with her new path.
We worked with Viet Mac of Mac House Productions to shoot a cinematic piece that loads upon arrival at the homepage. We shot all over the Jolie-Laide production facility in Sebastopol, CA, one of my favorite towns in Northern California. Viet’s RED cimenacam makes Scott’s Trosseau Gris look like liquid gold as is swirls in the glass under afternoon sun.
This is an eCommerce site where Jolie-Laide’s rabid List Members are able to buy their allocation of max 12 bottles per vintage. We’re working with the guys over at VineSpring, integrating their wine fulfillment platform into a responsive WordPress framework.
